Didn't think I'd do it, eh?
Okay, here goes (could anybody be INTERESTED in this??):
Five Things I Was Doing 10 Years Ago
1.Trying to figure out where my next freelance assignment was going to come from. (Some things don't change).
2. Learning how to be a parent to an extremely beautiful, bright and volatile (did I mention VOLATILE) two year old daughter, and getting my first inklings that maybe these were not normal two-year-old tantrums (as indeed they were not).
3. Taking care of my mom long distance.
4. Trying to lose weight. (See remark on #1)
5. Dealing with depression. Sliding into my usual winter funk, to be exact.
Five Things on Today's To-Do List:
1. Take a walk/go to gym
2. Call my friend Meghan, whose brother died last week.
3. Work on pitches for magazine articles.
4. Take aforementioned daughter to therapy appt
5. Cook dinner
Treats I Enjoy:
1. A good, strong, fragrant cup of coffee first thing in the morning.

4. A really good dirty joke.
5. A large, rowdy dinner with lots of relatives and funny stories.
Things I Would Do If I Were a Millionaire
1. Figure out how to hold onto some of the money in the current economic freefall.
2. Find a green start-up business to invest in.
3. Go see some parts of the world I've never seen, like Norway maybe, and Africa.
4. Okay, this is inexcusably vain and trivial but: I'd get a little plastic surgery.
5. I'd build a dream house for my sister and a tree house for my daughter.
Five Places I Have Lived:
1. Red Oak, Georgia
2. Atlanta
3. Washington, D.C.
4. New Haven, CT
5. Bowie, Md
